Saw 3 Soundtrack...

Poor old Coeburn Cane, who can't post from work sent me the Saw 3 Soundtrack tracklist. It's pretty good. He, as well as I thought that some of the folks here might enjoy it. Below is what he sent me....

Thought this might interest some of the metal/hard rock enthusiasts on the board. Feel free to post if you'd like to have a thread discussing it. It looks to be a pretty good soundtrack, could be one of the best since (in my book) Resident Evil: Apocalypse's.

All That Remains - "This Calling"
Static X - "No Submission"
Slayer - "Eyes Of The Insane"
Lamb Of God - "Walk With Me In Hell"
Helmet - "Monochrome"
Disturbed - "Guarded"
Blue October - " Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek"
Drowning Pool - "No More"
Avenged Sevenfold - "Burn It Down"
Eighteen Visions - "Your Nightmare"
Opiate For The Masses - "Dead Underground"
Bullet For My Valentine - "Suffocating Under Words Of Sorrow (What Can I Do)"
Ministry - "Fear Is Big Business"
Mastadon - "The Wolf Is Loose"
Hydrovibe Featuring Shawnee Smith - "Killer Inside"
Hourcast - "Sakkara"
Meshuggah - "Shed"
The Smashup "Effigy"
Ghost Machine - "Siesta Loca"
Charlie Clouser - "S*!thole Theme"

"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"

RE:A was, if not best soundtracks to come out in some time. I don't think the Saw 3 even compares to it..

I believe I saw 2 songs that actually are good:

1)Lamb of God - Walk with me in Hell
2)Mastodon - The Wolf is Loose

Slayer, Static X, Ministry, and Helmet. Helmet used to be the shiz.

Mastadon, Helmet and LOG are all worthy, the rest look like Mall-Core at best.

Re: Saw 3 Soundtrack...

Ministry is definately not Mall-Core. 10 years ago, that was the heaviest band on the planet. A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste and Psalm 69 are two of the best albums ever. Heroin addiction has definately taken a toll on them. Jourgenson has gotten a George W. facination lately too.

Helmet was right up there with Ministry in that same time period with Betty and Meantime, but the rest of their stuff has went downhill with every release.

Static X has always been good. Their first release was great, one of my favorites. The next couple I didn't care for, but the last one is really solid too.

Slayer has seen better days, but Seasons In The Abyss, South Of Heaven, and Reign In Blood are just bone crushingly brutal.

Agreed, New World Order was an awesome track but they in time have lost their luster with me. The same with Slayer, to one dimensional right now.
